This senior girl was so sweet to work with. Quiet & introspective, Brittany brought such an elegance to her high school senior session. It ended up being one of my favorite shoots of the season. She is a co-captain of Whitesburg Christian Academy’s varsity cheer squad. Brittany plans on pursuing a degree in nursing & will be attending UAH this Fall.
But First A Peak Into the Glam Process:
We first gathered at our Pro Makeup Artist Colleen’s studio. Brittany had asked for a natural but still defined makeup look. Colleen nailed it per usual. Terrame’s renowned Blow Dry Bar was next on our agenda as they styled Brittany’s gorgeous hair into soft waves with plenty of volume. While Brittany was getting the luxe Blow Dry Bar treatment, I was outside with her Mom going through the seniors’ clothes. Brittany had said in our initial consultation that she wanted to be photographed her Prom dress. This dress was BREATHTAKING & I might have squealed a little when she sent me pics. Knowing I was definitely going to use that stunner, I quickly put that to the side to save for the last look. Brittany & her Mom had chosen our GLAM Session. meaning that they had 1-2 hours of shooting time & 3 wardrobe changes. For the rest of her looks we chose two cute & casual looks.
Side Note: The senior always gets final approval after I’ve styled her/his looks together. I will never photograph you in something you hate!
