Mandolin Musician Photoshoot

Beware: there is a mandolin musician in the following post… 😉

I love being able to capture a musician doing what the love to do. From being serenaded during a shoot, to being in awe of how crazy creative they can be during the planning process. They are so much fun! This particular musician is my awesome brother, Joey.

About the shoot:

After talking with Joey and researching various concepts, I came across this photo from Michael Kors 2013 summer collection. Since we both love golden light and sun flares, it was an easy decision to use it as inspiration. The question of whether or not to bring Joey’s mandolin & guitar was also easily solved. If you play an instrument you should always bring it to your session!  🙂
